Shred Alert works with businesses across Bolton and Greater Manchester, providing a secure and cost-effective confidential waste disposal service. As an accredited shredding company, we cover all aspects of securely destructing confidential waste. We offer clients a range of pricing plans, from one-off collections to regular collections, and we can discuss bespoke plans for larger or smaller requirements.
Scheduling a professional shredding service can help your company achieve compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). We have a state of the art, BS EN 15713 approved shredding station where all waste is taken and we provide a free Certificate of Destruction confirming your records have been disposed of correctly, and in-line with GDPR. Our professional and accredited service will provide you with the peace of mind that your business is GDPR compliant.
Protecting personal records and securely disposing of personal data is now a legal requirement for businesses. We are accredited to BS EN 15713:2009, covering all components of destruction and the interim storage of confidential waste. Shred Alert are a well-established and professional shredding company, and we assist businesses of all sizes from a range of sectors in Bolton, Greater Manchester and UK wide.
If required, we can supply your company with lockable consoles. These offer optimum security and employees a safe and simple means of depositing confidential material. Each console is only accessible by a member of the Shred Alert team, further ensuring that any sensitive material is protected and cannot be accessed. When we empty the consoles the hessian bag is removed and the waste is taken to our secure shredding site. The hessian bag is replaced and your console is securely locked and ready to be used again by staff members.
There are many reasons why your business may be in need of confidential shredding. If your company holds any records on individuals that contain personal information such as: names, addresses, bank details, email addresses, photographs, patient records or employment contracts - then this is an important consideration as GDPR will be applicable. Similarly, if a patient, client, ex-employee (or in fact anyone that you store records about), states that they would like to exercise their right to be forgotten, your business has one month to erase all data relating to that person. Proof will then be required to show that you carried out the deletion of data in accordance with current legislation.
At Shred Alert we are proud to offer a versatile range of pricing plans, including a bronze, silver and gold plan. In addition to this, we can also provide a more bespoke quote, for smaller or larger collections. Simply contact our office and discuss your shredding needs with the team - 0161 731 0246
Failure to comply with GDPR can be extremely costly for businesses - make sure you have it covered and instruct a professional organisation to take care of your confidential waste disposal.
